I gave you my heart but this Christmas I shall be cooking turkey!

Have decided this year that we are hosting Christmas dinner at home. We usually go to his mums first thing then spend the day at my parents with my brother and family and my grandparents.

But this year, it doesn't feel right to be at mums, it's like there will be a big (or actually small as she was a little lady) gap where my grandma should be. Plus, my brother and family are going to be in Wales spending Christmas and New Year with my SiL's dad. I fully understand their decision because after all, as harsh as it is to say it, it may be his last.

So this year, we are playing host to my parents, his mum and probably my grandad.

I'm kind of looking forward to it, especially being able to spend the morning at home ourselves instead of rushing around everywhere. Bit panicky about cooking my first ever Christmas dinner, especially cause mum always does such a good one but I'm sure I can cope, after all I used to do it for a living :))

This is actually my first feeling that Christmas is coming!! yay :>>
